Job Overview: As the Dealer Principal , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's operations. This includes leading and managing the sales, service, and administrative teams to ensure the dealership achieves its sales targets, maintains high levels of customer satisfaction, and operates efficiently and profitably. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership to the sales, service, and administrative teams, fostering a positive and motivating work environment. Set clear goals and objectives for the dealership and ensure they are communicated effectively to all team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance and support to team members as needed. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Work closely with the sales team to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maximize profitability. Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure that all customers receive an exceptional experience at the dealership. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction. Implement customer retention strategies to foster long-term relationships and repeat business. Develop and manage the dealership's budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and profitability targets are achieved. Monitor financial performance metrics such as gross profit, expenses, and inventory turnover, taking action to optimize performance. Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales and maximize profitability. Oversee inventory management processes, including ordering, stocking, and pricing of vehicles. Work closely with manufacturers and distributors to ensure optimal inventory levels and availability of popular models. Monitor aging inventory and implement strategies to minimize depreciation and maximize sales opportunities. Ensure that the dealership complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks related to finance, insurance, and other dealership operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sales, service, and finance transactions. Qualifications and Skills: Experienced in automotive sales and dealership management, with a proven track record of success. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members. Sound financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions. Knowledge of automotive industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
