Job Purpose: As a Credit Controller, your role is pivotal in maintaining financial stability and ensuring effective cash flow management within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of credit control, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and minimizing credit risk exposure.
Responsibilities: Collection of outstanding money on the debtor's bookReconciliation of customer accounts as neededReconciliation of all control accountsPreparation of credit and debit notesPreparation of journalsCredit vetting according to company policyFollow up on account queriesInter branch reconciliations and confirmationsImport CATS and great plains debit order filesDaily processing of new and cancelled debit ordersDaily printing and coding of efts from CATS (Standard bank)Phoning and updating customer notes on IT systemManage and control the debtors processRequirements: 3 years' experience in a credit management positionCertificate / Diploma in credit management or equivalent experienceAdmin skillsBasic Understanding of debtorsCommunication skillsComputer literateKnowledge of the national credit actsComply with O.H.S.A.Valid Driver's licenseHours: 08:00am to 16:30 / Monday to Friday / Onsite
Salary: Between R16 000 to R18 000 CTC depending on experience with Provident Fund
