Hire Resolve's Client, a leading company in the Food Industry is urgently seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team in Johannesburg. As a Credit Controller in the Food Industry, you will play a crucial role in managing credit control processes and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts. Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collections
Review and assess customer credit worthiness
Resolve customer queries and disputes regarding invoices and payments
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any credit-related issues
Prepare and distribute reports on credit control activities
Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures
Identify and escalate any high-risk accounts or potential credit risks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and credit files
Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Requirements
Proven experience as a Credit Controller in the Food Industry
Accounting 2-3 years
Accounts Receivable 3-4 years
Reconciliations 3-4 years
Strong knowledge of credit control processes, procedures, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
