DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: Our client is a large player in the engineering and power generation industry, operating across more than 30 countries. They are offering an opportunity for an experienced finance professional and CA(SA), to take on the role of Country Chief Financial Officer. As the Country CFO, you will be responsible for all financial activities of the organization, ensuring that the Company reaches its goals in line with global strategy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification essentialSolid understanding of South African tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations, as well as the Companies Act.Experience working in a multinational organization10 Year experience in financial management, 5 years being in a senior management roleStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with BBBEE Compliance and reportingRESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Planning and ReportingCompliance and Risk ManagementPrepare board pack and report to the board of directors on the financial performance of the company.Oversee the preparation and submission of financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory reports.Profit and Loss monitoring and reporting monthly to both local and international management.Overseeing FP&A (financial planning & analysis) FunctionOversee Procurement and Accounts PayableMonitor and manage the accounts receivable process, including credit limits, debt collection, and cash flow.Oversee treasury and cash management activities, including cash flow forecastingLead the company's BBBEE initiatives in collaboration with the HR Management and ensure compliance with the BBBEE Codes of Good Practice.Act as the Responsible Person (Public Officer) for financial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.Ensure submission of statutory returns, compliance with tax laws, and liaison with relevant tax authorities.Leadership and development of the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance and support.Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.Do you see yourself as the successful Country CFO at this leading Company?
