The Control Room Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operations of various mining equipment and processes from a centralized control room. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mining operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Monitor and control the operation of mining equipment and processes from a centralized control roomEnsure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all timesCommunicate with on-site personnel to coordinate activities and address any issues or concernsAnalyze data and make decisions to optimize efficiency and productivityKeep accurate records of equipment performance and process parametersTroubleshoot technical issues and escalate to maintenance personnel as neededMaintain a clean and organized control room environment Requirements: Grade 12Fitter/Electrical/Technician Trade Test CertificatePrevious experience working as a Control Room Operator in the mining industryStrong understanding of mining operations and equipmentProficiency in operating control systems and softwareExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and make decisions under pressureKnowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industryWillingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Benefits: Salary: Market RelatedFamily Responsibility Leave (if applicable)
