As a Control Room Operator Surface, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling surface mining operations to ensure safe and efficient production. Responsibilities Monitor real-time data and alarms from various surface mining equipment Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures Coordinate and communicate with mining personnel to optimize production processes Record and report production data and equipment performance Identify and troubleshoot operational issues Maintain accurate documentation and logs of all activities Collaborate with other operators and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Control Room Operator in the mining industry Knowledge of surface mining operations and equipment Experience with SCADA systems and process control systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the mining industry Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Paid Time Off (if applicable) Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
