Contracts Manager

We have a vacancy for a Contracts Manager in our raise boring Operations. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating and controlling raise boring' exploration operations in their designated area of responsibility.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Supervising and controlling all subordinates in their area of responsibilityPromoting and maintaining the company's occupational health and safety programme to ensure a safe and healthy
work environmentEnsuring adherence to all requirements as set out in risk assessmentEnsuring compliance as per ISO documentationEnsuring all relevant documentation is done and submitted on timeMonitoring and correcting project programVerifying correctness of all information communicated to client and head officeAnalyzing daily delays experienced and possible delaysChecking progressive revenue, cost and profit against budgetAuthorizing and controlling overtimeSubmitting invoices to clients and following upEnsuring job training is dynamic and on-going and evaluated on a regular basisEnsuring the client signs off production report dailyLiaising with relevant production managers at least once a weekAttending planning meetings weekly at each mine in area of responsibilityVisiting shaft in area of responsibility where no contracts are in place with the intention to obtain new work Qualifications and experience: Grade 12 and University Degree/ National Diploma3 years Managerial experience inthe mining industry Added advantages: Good understanding of ISO 9001Salary and benefits are market-related.
