This mid-level project management position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership with industry-wide impact, responsible for guiding the successful implementation of an integrated business solution, ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to customer satisfaction. The individual will be responsible for managing the overall project delivery and quality of engagement work products and solutions in the implementation of the InForm Suite for Cloud and On-premise projects. The Consulting Project Manager is expected to: Manage delivery of new InForm-based project processes within a customer consultative relationship Ensure that the work product and project deliverables are of the highest quality to satisfy customer requirements Organize, direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contracted project activities Develop project plans, tasks, deliverables, dependencies and resource requests Manage time, budget and quality project constraints Track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets Exercise scope management and control, respecting the customer, team, and Oracle needs, developing contingency plans where necessary Assemble Quality System Plan documents and records Interact and communicate regularly with internal teams located globally and customer stakeholders Identify and execute on opportunities for process improvement Analyse business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solutions meet the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge Effectively apply Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure Professionally influence -frequently operating at the leading edge of technology Recommend and justify enhancements to Oracle products to meet complex customer needs Exercise creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving major issues and risks impacting project success Provide direction and mentoring to project teams Act as thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influencing decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations Ensure customer deliverables are acceptable, and work closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations Enable business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise The Individual should have: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience relevant to this position including 3 years of project management experience Knowledge of Cloud technology and services Strong experience and demonstrated understanding of computer systems and software application implementation including knowledge of SDLC Experience of Software upgrade and/or migration processes Demonstrate ability to follow solid project management principles (for example PMP or Prince 2) Knowledge of clinical research industry and practices and ICH/GCP Regulations Possess strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to Electronic Data Capture would be beneficial but not mandatory Proven track record of meeting project timeliness/deliverables and attention to detail, process, deadlines and quality results Possess strong organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple tasks effectively Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems Willing to travel up to 25% (typically day trips or 1 or 2 nights depending on customer location) Detailed Description and Job Requirements As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client*s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery. Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3 - 6 years overall experience in functional or technical role.As part of Oracle's employment process candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process.
