Minimum qualification and experience: B-degree in Communications – minimum criteriaMinimum 6 years' as a corporate Communications specialistAgency experience advantageousOverall purpose of the job – communications: Influence stakeholder behavior in support of the brand vision and business priorities through effective and timely external communications and reputation management to build trust and credibilityEnsure that perception of thought leadership and good corporate citizenship is maintained through positive PR - change behavior, attitudes and opinionsCraft, design and execute regional communications plans aligned to marketing for the respective regionsThe incumbent will source and distribute good news stories, new products, suburb and/or market specific information, general communications and alerts via various mediums to customers, the media and other interested partiesDevelop and distribute communication material via appropriate platforms – email, social, SMS etc.Collaborate with the business on PR and marketing regional specific plansMain duties: Coordinate all above and below the line marketing and communications activities in locations of responsibility, ensure share of voice in the regionsIn alignmentwith the national marketing and communications strategy, plan and implement promotional campaignsEnsure regular reporting on success of regional communications activitiesEnsure a consistent brand experience at all touchpointsManage and work closely with PR agency to increase share of voice, reporting, best practices and insightsBuild on media relationsMedia monitoringInvestigate appropriate communication platforms utilised by communities, cities or on a national basis for distribution of communicationsIdentify suburb specific communication tools and partner with community leaders to utilise tools to communicate key messages that ultimately drives customer awareness of the brand, our activities and capabilitiesSegment customer base to appropriately define target audiences for optimal relevance of communicationGrow awareness, liking and consideration for the Fidelity brand in the region through consistent messaging, relevant positioning and positive communications initiativesFormulate communications policies that aid in representing the organisation to customers, stakeholdersManage, distribute and analyse customer satisfaction surveysTake on additional communication projects as requiredCompile relevant and accurate internal communicationsDevelop, deliver and manage regular social media and WhatsApp collateral to grow both brand awareness and brand positioningSkills/Abilities Good written and oral communicatorAbility to establish and maintain internal networks – organizational agilityGood time managementCustomer focusHighly motivated individualWorks well under pressureAttention to detailAbility to work aloneProject managementMust be able to write – articles, press releases, editorial, customer comms etcMust be able to manage a PR crisis – non negotiableMust be able to create a communication and PR strategy – non negatableWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
