A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your applicationEMPLOYMENT TYPE   :           PermanentSECTOR                         :           HospitalityBASIC SALARY             :           Market RelatedSTART DATE                 :           A.S.A.P / ImmediateREQUIREMENTS:Culinary Certificate / Diploma1 – 2 years' experience as a Commis Chef in a 5-star restaurantAvailability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays and weekends)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detailProductive and EfficientSelf-disciplinedAbility to cope under pressure DUTIES:Assist other chefs in the kitchenEnsure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to recipes and standardsAssisting with deliveriesComplete daily checks of all mis-en-place to ensure freshness and quality standardsMaintain proper rotation of products in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilageHave full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotionsEnsure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipmentFollow kitchen procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beveragesHOURS:Monday – Sunday (Shifts)
