The role of the Client Manager is to build and improve day to day client relationships, handle portfolios of client accounts and provide technical expertise to less experienced employees. What the day will look likeResponsible for leading, developing and improving the day to day client relationship Responsible for building a "client profile" of risks and needs analysis in respect of the portfolio of clients. Responsible for input into the renewal process which includes: preparing pre-renewal documentsmeeting with clientssending renewal notificationssending cancellation letters were applicable.Responsible for structuring insurance programmes to meet the needs of portfolio clients. Responsible for producing client documentation (including policy documents and claims statistics), leading or contributing to renewal meetings and leading or contributing to fee negotiations. Skills and experience that will lead to successQualifications.A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent A Bachelor's degree is preferable Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act Must be registered as an associate with the IISA Knowledge. Excellent knowledge of policy wordings An extensive knowledge of the South short-term insurance markets An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals Digital literacy with advanced know-how in MS Word and Excel.
