Civil Design Draughtsperson - R420K - R300K

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Design Draughtsperson to join our client's team. As a prominent player in the civil engineering industry, RPO Recruitment focuses on finding the best candidates for our clients' needs. As a Civil Design Draughtsperson, you will play a key role in the planning and design of various civil engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers and architects to create accurate and detailed drawings and plans. Your expertise in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and your strong understanding of civil engineering principles will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects. Responsibilities Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs Conduct site visits and gather necessary information for project development Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions Maintain and update project documentation and records Attend project meetings and provide technical support as required Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project timelines Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field Proven experience as a Civil Design Draughtsperson or similar role Excellent proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices Familiarity with construction codes and regulations Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Project management experience is a plus Professional certification, like a CAD Technician certification, is a plus Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed Benefits Salary: R300K/yr – R420k/yr, salary negotiable Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity.
