Our client is seeking a skilled and proficient Chinese Translator to join the team on a 10-month contract. You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between the organisation and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chinese Translator, with a strong portfolio of successful translations. Proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Chinese Studies, Linguistics, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Translation: Provide accurate and contextually relevant translations of various documents, including business correspondence, reports, and technical materials, from Chinese to English and vice versa. Interpretation: Facilitate effective communication in meetings, conferences, and other interactions by providing real-time interpretation between Chinese and English. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of translated content, while meeting tight deadlines. Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to clarify ambiguous points, gather additional context, and ensure a smooth translation process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
