Salary: £53,136 - £58,248 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated Children's Community Nursing Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to children and young people with complex health needs and disabilities in community settings.
Key Responsibilities: Delivering a neurodevelopmental paediatric nursing service to children aged 0 to 18 years (and up to 19 years in special schools) with a range of developmental neurological disabilities.Conducting assessments using standardised tools for children with complex and/or long-term disabilities and additional needs.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and professionals to maintain a holistic approach to care.Generating detailed reports for various purposes, including EHCP (education and health care plans).Effective communication in complex and challenging situations.Providing clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and pre and post-diagnostic support teams.Requirements: Registered Children's Nurse (RGN with relevant experience will be considered)NMC registeredManagement/Leadership qualification or equivalent experienceTeaching and assessing qualificationSignificant post-registration experience in a community setting with children and young peopleExperience in team management and developmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and extensive safeguarding knowledgeBenefits: 29 days annual leave, increasing with length of serviceTailored induction sessionsHybrid and mobile working optionsLocal Government salary and pension schemeFlexible working arrangementsComprehensive Employee Assistance ProgrammeStaff benefits and discountsExcellent learning and development opportunitiesJoin us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
