The CFO: MAP SA, reporting through to the CEO: MAP SA, and will be responsible for providing strategic direction and financial management to MAP SA. The CFO : MAP SA will be responsible to lead the following functions: full sets of accounts for the MAP SA businesses, tight management of working capital, lead the budgeting and forecasting process and oversee group functions of insurance, treasury, and hyperion reporting.
Specific Role Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Expertise Preparing, planning for internal and external auditsDeveloping and updating Standard Operating Procedures to balance risk and costManage the Risk & Compliance team, including risk management, in accordance with Head Office requirements.Drive automation of accounting processes to maximise accuracy and speed of high transactional data.Provide accurate, timely and reliable financial information to the CEO to support the business in making strategic and operational decisions.Adherence to IFRS requirementsFulfil tax requirements in conjunction with Head OfficeProvide strategic input and expertise to the CEO for due diligence and analysis of all acquisitions or internal developments.Budgets, forecasting and cashflow forecasting and management.Prepare monthly analysis of income and expenditure against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks.Strong management of Capex and WIPPeople Leadership Leading the Finance Team to ensure the high standards are met within the team, as well as to internal customers.Play a contributing positive role in the Exco.Prepare annual KPIs for the team and complete appraisals.Create an engaging, enabling, and productive work climate.Focus on activities to support internal promotions.Own and live up to company values.Key Skills: Demonstrable experience in leading a Finance teamCommercial biasCommitment to high standards in deliverablesProven track record in the aforementioned performance areas.
