Call Centre Agent

JOB PURPOSE:To negotiate with arrears account customers to maximise debtrecovery and profitability. KEY PERFORMANCE AREASCollections management· Ensuring that allocated collection targets are achieved· Ensuring that allocated productivity targets are achieved · Arranging for debt repayment or establishing repayment schedules· Probing and determining reasons for non-payment and updating systems accordingly· Negotiating payment arrangements with debtors within set mandates· Confirming and/or updating debtor details including:o Banking detailso Employer Informationo Repayment method and frequency (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) Quality management· Understanding, interpreting, and applying laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures applicable to the collections process· Adhering to and utilizing collections call scripts· Keeping updated, accurate records of debtor information· Ensuring that the accounts are properly maintained at alltimes on collection systems· Dealing with team members and debtors in an empathetic, tactful, and professional manner REQUIREMENTS· A Matric certificate is compulsory (assessments will be done)· Clear Criminal and Credit Record (all applications will be subjected toa vetting process)· Working experience within an outbound debt collections environment is advantageous· Current CFDC Registration will be advantageous· Understanding/working knowledge of a collections system is advantageous· Proficiency in English and Other South African Languages· Computer Literacy · Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills· Dedication, Professionalism and Self-Motivation· Must be able to work in a team· Should be able to perform under pressure and exercise good time management· Integrity, reliability and a strong work ethic is critical REMUNERATION STRUCTURE· Basic Salary R4000 PLUS Uncapped Commission · Group incentives and bonus schemes are applicable PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOULD YOUR APPLICATION BESHORTLISTED YOU WILL BE CONTACTED VIA TELEPHONE / EMAIL AND INVITED TO COME INFOR AN INTERVIEW AND ASSESSMENT.
