Requirements: Experience: 5 to 10 years Qualifications: Matric Professional Registrations: Not required. Software: Microsoft Office (proficient in excel, word, outlook), Proficient in Sage Evolution (Important) Proficient in English (Crucial) and Afrikaans (Ideal) Notice period: Immediate. Experience as a buyer in the large trailer manufacturing and steel industry. Responsibilities: Daily purchasing of supplies Receiving supplies Negotiating with suppliers for pricing. Invoicing Stock control. Qualities/Skills: Excellent communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills. Identifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimize risk. Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with co-workers. Strong problem-solving skills, analytic ability and be very detail oriented. Working well with many different departments and external suppliers. Always keeping the end-user/customer in mind. Being results and deadline driven. Proficient in MS Office and Sage evolution
