"That's more like it" "Find your role" This Business Unit Director will step change the proposition, sales and profit of Money & Mobile. Seeking to create 10x value at pace. Money & Mobile may or not be constrained within the ASDA Stores eco system. Recognising all regulatory constraints and working safely within them this role will establish an ambitious growth strategy and build the business case and plan to step change the offer. It will identify and build exceptionally strong partnership relationships to leverage Asda and partner capabilities to their maximum potential. This is including negotiations of terms and conditions, closing of contracts, prioritising projects and marketing spend per product/initiative and the overall evaluation of performance.
The role sits in a complex stakeholder environment. It will deliver strong stakeholder alignment, engaging internal and external stakeholders up to Exec and ownership level, including regulators (OFCOM and the Financial Conduct Authority) in support of Money & Mobile's contribution to their business and the British public. Money & Mobile will establish a strong and unique position in the market, leveraging the ASDA, LS11, TDR ecosystem and other capabilities to develop maximum value for customers and stakeholders. A priority for the role will be establishing the correct business model to run under as part of Asda Group.
It also requires successful delivery of a step change in pace and performance and develop a strong growth capability in the team while maintaining focus on operational compliance.
Your Role Operational Compliance- ensure organisational compliance with external regulators (OFCOM and the Financial Conduct Authority).Driving Ambitious Growth – develop an ambitious growth strategy with an agile test and learn approach that delivers results period on period.Talent & performance strategy – develop a talent plan and operating model to have a motivated and high performing team that delivers the business strategy.Leading change – take the team, stakeholders, and partners on the journey of change. Generate understanding, buy in, and active support for the growth journey. Lead the delivery of the plan.Stakeholder management – manage a complex stakeholder network finding the best way to solve for complex requirements and developing strong relationships to meet the challenges ahead.Proposition development – understand current and potential customers, identify target opportunities, and develop a robust proposition, product, and marketing roadmap to bring products and services to market that customers will love. Recognising the importance of financial products in their lives and the need to deliver more value to customers than ever before.Asda Brand alignment – work seamlessly aligned with the wider Asda (or additional brand partners) to develop a mutually enhancing offer that is aligned to the group strategy.Business Planning- leading the development of annual and longer term business plans ensuring alignment with strategy and quantify business outcomes eg. Revenue and performance indicators, resource budgets and integration of key projects.Budgeting- take functional responsibility for setting and approving budgets.Corporate Representations- represent the organisation in relation to Asda Money, Mobile & Gift Cards.Let's find out about you" General Education (Bachelor's or First Degree.
