Job Description
As the Business Owner for our Financial Wellness Platform, you will hold ultimate accountability for the conception, development, and operation of the OML financial wellness platform. Your primary objective will be to ensure its commercial success while concurrently enhancing the financial wellness of our customers. This role demands a visionary leader who can oversee every aspect of platform's lifecycle and drive it towards achieving its strategic goal of guiding and enabling customers through their financial wellness journey.1. Strategic Planning and Vision:
Develop a clear vision and strategy for Smart Goals in alignment with the Old Mutual IFS Strategy and its definition of financial wellness.Manage stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of stakeholder interest with the overall vision and objectives of Smart Goals.Identify market trends, customer needs, advisor needs and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to financial wellness and technology platforms2. End-to-End Ownership
Responsible for the end-to-end development process for Smart Goals, including ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment and ensure seamless integration into OML and across all digital touchpoints.Act as the Product Owner and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, in an agile environment, to continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.Develops product roadmap and translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.Continuously ensure that user testing is conducted to evaluate market fit and evolve platform accordingly.Ensure appropriate integration takes place internally and externally to ensure that the financial wellness proposition shows up holistically and coherently across different customer touchpoints.Ensure appropriate integration takes place into DAE to ensure that the right customer insights and next best actions show up to the financial advisers.Ensure the platform is intuitive, user friendly and allows the customers to effortless navigate their financial wellness journey.Ensure that the Smart Goals platform functions as it should and ensure seamless functionality and user experience.3. Financial Wellness:
Act as a Financial Wellness thought leaders and influence how financial wellness is defined and measured across OMLDevelop and implement the "Know, Plan, Act" framework within the platform to guide customers through their financial wellness journey.Build out the financial wellness action library that forms part of the next best actions to help customers reach their long-term financial goals effectively.Enable the codification of advice so that customers can get customers can get access to personalised guidance and recommendations tailored to their specific financial goals.Work with the digital channels and product to enable the purchasing of products and services that form part of the customers financial wellness journey 4. Commercial Success
Build investment case for Smart Goals and secure funding.Track investment case and define and execute strategies to drive key metrics and achieve financial targets.Continually seek to improve conversion rates to maximize profitability.5. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction
Champion customer-centricity by understanding and addressing the needs and pain points of our users.Implement mechanisms (NPS and SUS) to gather feedback and measure customer satisfaction, iterating the platform accordingly.6. Team Leadership and Collaboration
Build and lead a cross-functional team responsible for bringing the Smart Goals vision to lifeFoster a collaborative and innovative work culture, empowering team members to excel in their respective roles.Drive Cultural Transformation required for the digital transformation of Old Mutual Limited7. Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensure the platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly regarding data privacy and financial security.Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact the platform's performance or reputation.Skills Education
