BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (Hybrid work model) Cape Town OR Pretoria basedR35 000 R45 000 Per MonthNegotiable depending on qualification and years of relevant experienceOur Client, a Global Consulting Firm is currently expanding and in search of a bright, resourceful and tenacious professional to join their dynamic Business Development team.You will support the business development team in business developmentresearch and analysisparticularly taking place within thepublic sector (government tendering environment), maintaining internal BD databases, coordinating with internal and external teams on business development initiatives, and supporting the development of tenders.One would describe you as a highly organized, efficient, self-motivated and confident individual who possesses high standards of achievement towards attention to detail and levels of accuracy.You are a resourceful and assertive teamplayer who thrives when managing multiple tasks and deadlines across multiple offices.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCERequired:Bachelors degree or diploma in business administration, international developmentor a related field4-5 yearsoverall professional business supportexperience gainedwith at least1-2 years of experience in business development or market research gained within an international public sector related environmentwith exposure to development partners such asGIZ, DFID, USAID, World Bank, EU, etc.Experience gained within a similar Management Consulting or Strategic Consulting environment and / or Global Engineering or related industry is advantageous!Proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite and CRM systems,in particular experience gained in developingmarketing collateral and presentations on MS PowerpointStrong research and data analysis skillswith proven proficiency onMS ExcelDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWill include but not be limited to:Actively support the team in the development of content for expressions of interest, tenders and requests for proposalsConduct research to support all business development submissions under the direction of the BD ManagerAnalyse tender results and provide feedback to adjust business development approachAssist in gathering market intelligence and conducting research to support growth areas, as directed by the BD Manager and BD Lead and contribute to internal BD intelligence databasesGather material on key clients, geographic regions, and strategic programmesSupport the BD manager and BD lead in developing content required for marketing materials for business development activitiesInput and maintain information on business development systems and tools, including CRM, opportunities portal, and credentials databaseInput and maintain data for reports to support progress and performance trackingArrange and coordinate business development workshops, meetings and eventsPlease email CVs to Nicole Spamers:
