We are seeking a passionate and driven Solar Business Developer to join our clients dynamic sales team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is keen to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector. As a Solar Business Developer, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients and partners, and ultimately driving our business growth in targeted markets.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.Conduct market research to identify solar energy projects and partnership opportunities.Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to a range of stakeholders.Negotiate contracts, close agreements, and follow through to ensure successful implementation.Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and outreach strategies.Attend industry conferences and events to network with potential clients and professionals.Keep abreast of latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.Strong understanding of solar energy markets, financial modeling, and project financing.Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Willingness to travel as needed.For more engineering jobs, please visit www.networkrecruitment.co.za
