Seeking a dynamic and progressive Business Development Manager to join the team. Main job function To manage the generation of new business within the designated industry vertical through actively marketing the Company and establishing long term business relationships with target accounts. To sell the companys primary products and supply chain solutions locally and internationally by following a structured sales approach. Primary role is to prospect, develop and manage new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and identifying potential new business. Sustains the growth of the company's business by establishing new business relationships. Ensure that bids/tenders/RFQ's/RFE's/RFP's are attended to. Qualifications B Degree and or relevant Post Graduate Qualification Experience/Criteria At least 5 to 10 years Sales Experience, preferably in the Freight Forwarding Industry. Demonstratable ability to manage and lead a team is an advantage. Specific experience required: Strong sales experience and ideally has worked in a business development role. Solid working knowledge of sales, business development and strategic selling methodologies. Proven track record in Freight Forwarding, Clearing, Contract Logistics Supply Chain experience A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
