Bookkeeper/ Junior Accountant

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BCom or similar accounting degree or extensive equivalent experience A minimum of three years relevant experience in an accounting role Knowledge of VAT, general tax compliance and eFiling Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and accurately Articulate with excellent communication skills Ability to function under pressure and to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy Computer literate with strong MS Excel skills RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: General ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliation Daily capturing and processing of invoices Costing control and procurement Cash flow planning Asset register maintenance Debtor and creditor management Maintaining spreadsheets to accurately report on accounting requirements Assisting in annual budget preparations and year-end audit process Compilation of management accounts Any other administrative and operational duties as required ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
