Role Overview: As our Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in maintaining our financial health. You'll manage everything from bank reconciliations and ledger entries to payroll and tax returns. Your work will ensure our financial processes are efficient, compliant, and supportive of our business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough bank and general ledger reconciliations. • Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation. • Maintain the fixed assets register and balance sheet substantiation. • Handle full cashbook and ledger processing up to trial balance. • Assist with audit queries and ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Prepare and submit tax and EMP returns and manage payroll efficiently. • Analyse financial data to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to enhance financial processes. What We're Looking for (Requirements): • 2+ years of bookkeeping or financial processing experience. • Proficiency in SAGE and advanced Excel skills. • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. • Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset. • Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to professional development.
