Bi Engineer Analyst - Durban – Up To R750K Per Annum

A bank with a dominant market position in finance and is ideally positioned to offer bespoke funding solutions to set the business up for success is searching for a BI Engineer Analyst to work within an established professional, objective and globally integrated team, to connect clients to solutions and produce technical specification documentation by identifying and analysing relevant data sources including documenting and applying business rules. Responsibilities: Create a proposed solution based on the Business Requirements Definition (BRD) Produce a High-Level Design (HLD) using the BRD Deliver final solution by obtaining customer acceptance and sign off Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc) Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies and support implementation of new processes, policies and systems. Conduct regular feedback sessions with developers to ensure alignment with technical specifications Adhere to the customer engagement model by communicating new or changed solutions Keep customer satisfied by providing regular feedback sessions and defining the relevant operational level agreements (OLA) Ensure work is completed on time by adhering to the deadlines as per the Task Request System (TRS) Produce the technical specification document by identifying and analysing relevant data sources Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology 3 - 5 years experience in IT and B/I environment Power BI and SQL experience Governance, Risk and Controls Industry trends Developed and Implemented Communications Strategy The Reference Number for this position is NG58379 which is a Permanent Hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company from R600K up to R750K per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
