Audit Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the directors Planning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures) Training of staff Audit and other engagement administration Client and director liaison Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines Staying up to date with the latest technical standards and ensuring all work is in line with latest standards EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: Above average technical ability (IFRS for SMEs, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing) Strong project management skills Emotional intelligence Excellent communication skills Strong project management skills Team player Self-motivated Ability to cope under pressure and achieve deadlines Experience in compilations, reviews and audits (including attorney trust, estate agent, body corporate, SME audits). Minimum requirements: Completed SAICA articles Competed Accounting degree or in progress (Honours will be a distinct advantage) Working knowledge of CaseWare, Excel and Word Own transport, a valid drivers license and willingness to travel Fluent in Afrikaans and English If you would like to apply or receive more information about this position, please:
