Audit Manager

Our client is seeking an audit manager and /or audit senior to join their team of professionals in Grabouw.
Primary responsibilities including but not limited to: Reporting directly to the directorsPlanning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures)Training of staffAudit and other engagement administrationClient and director liaisonPreparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeouslyMonitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlinesStaying up to date with the latest technical standards and ensuring all work is in line with latest standardsDesired experience and requirements: Above average technical ability (IFRS for SME's, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing)Strong project management skillsEmotional intelligenceExcellent communication skillsStrong project management skillsTeam playerSelf-motivatedAbility to cope under pressure and achieve deadlinesExperience in compilations, reviews and audits (including attorney trust, estate agent, body corporate, SME audits).Minimum requirements: Completed SAICA articlesCompeted Accounting degree or in progress (Honours will be a distinct advantage)Working knowledge of CaseWare, Excel and WordOwn transport, a valid driver's license and willingness to travelFluent in Afrikaans and English
