Associate Designer(Consumer Products) 1-year fixed term contract. Johannesburg R20 000 per month. A fantastic role for a young creative designer with a degree in graphic or product design and 4-year relevant experience preferably in fashion, to be involved in the co-ordination and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on design projects and the creation of new products for the brands of a well-known International Toy company. You will be ensuring product development is aligned with the global creative strategy & design guidelines and that creative direction is in line with global brand image and global design strategy. You must be familiar with Apple Macintosh system operations, fluent in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and strong attention to detail. The successful incumbent must be based in Johannesburg or surrounding areas, be able to work remotely, have fibre and back-up power. The role will entail liaising with the USA, so the working hours would be 9/10 am to 6 pm.
