Assistant Manager, Fund Finance (Japanese Speaking)

Job Description

Our client is a prominent corporate bank in Asia and they are looking for a Fund Finance Assistant Manager to join their friendly and exciting team. This role will be responsible for credit analysis, loan administration, internal reporting and supporting ad-hoc tasks and projects covering various elements of the fund finance business.

?What you will be working on?
- Perform investor analysis to support the credit approval process for fund finance transactions
- Conduct ongoing credit monitoring and generate annual rating review reports
- Facilitate closing and interim loan operations with internal back-office and the treasury team
- Perform KYC / AML investigations and report new and existing client accounts
- Prepare various performance and accounting internal reporting for regional branches
- Participate in fund finance initiative projects and facilitate implementation processes
- Conduct market research to help grow the APAC fund finance business
- Perform any other tasks as reasonably assigned by the line managers
Requirement

?What they're looking for?
- A Bachelor's Degree or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in loan operations and the financial industry (fund finance, structured finance, or corporate finance)
- Experience in loan operations (back or middle office functions) at a bank
- Proficient verbal and written skills in English and Japanese to facilitate internal/external stakeholders who communicate in Japanese
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of banking products and culture
