Vacancy DetailsEmployer:TWK Agri TWK Motors, part of the TWK Agri Group, has the following vacancy available: Artisan Assistant (RSA) at Standerton, Mpumalanga.Responsibilities and DutiesAssist in the repair and servicing of vehicles according to dealer / distributor standards and within the flat rate time allowedTogether with journeyman, establish parts required for service / repair to be performed and ensured correct parts are orderedReport to journeyman / technician promptly on any additional work requiredObtain authorization prior to carrying out additional work or dismantling componentsObtain technical information from journeyman / technician on problem jobsAdhere strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by journeymanAdhere to laid down workshop policies and proceduresNote the description of all work performed on the back of Repair Order if requiredPlace all used parts in plastic bag, except oil & fuel filters, and place on passenger floorAll warranty replaced parts to be tagged according to laid down rules, and handed to Parts DepartmentEnsure all oils and parts used are booked out on Repair OrderEnsure vehicle is kept as clean as possible, and use all protective items suppliedEnsure work bay is kept safe, clean and tidyEnsure time started and completed are entered on Repair OrderReport any faulty and / or broken equipment is reported to journeyman / technicianEnsure all special tools and equipment are used with utmost careTo possess a complete set of tools, as per RMI standards, and to maintain them in good working orderEnsure a neat appearance at all times - overalls to be changed after heavy repairsMaintain cordial relationship with workshop staffQualifications and SkillsMatric / Grade 12N.I.C. TrainingComputer literateValid driver's licencePrevious experience on servicing of vehicles*The company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.
