What will you do? • Build and strengthen existing relationships with key internal and select domestic external institutional investors, working closely with the central Sanlam Investments (SI) Distribution unit where relevant.
• Deliver high level of post-investment service to existing clients, supporting the SI Distribution unit to provide relevant reporting and ad hoc information proactively or in response to client enquiries.
• Ensure regular communication and information sharing on client activity with other SIG/SI units in order to maintain a unified client understanding.
• Represent and complement the SAI investment teams in external engagements.
• Enhance SAI's market profile, working closely with marketing and communication team(s) in the production of relevant marketing content, market communications and online presence.
• Develop and update investment collateral for each capability (marketing material, fund documentation, standard and bespoke presentation decks).
• Ensure product information and data is available on external vendor- or manager research databases.
• Ensure all external content meets the regulation requirements.
• Deliver content related to regular and ad hoc institutional investor engagements (request for proposals, investment and operational due diligence, reporting, presentations).
• Provide regular and ongoing training to client and market-facing units keeping them informed of SAI activity.
• Execute fundraise campaigns across SAI, working closely with SAI investment teams and central SI Distribution and Marketing units.
• Contribute to the on-boarding process of new clients as appropriate, working with the relevant SIG/SI units.
• Ensure the business is constantly aware of the competitive peer environment, product and industry trends.
• Represent SAI in relevant industry and client forums focused on alternative investments.
• Deliver strategic content (market research, knowledge sharing, thought leadership) through relevant multiple channels
What will make you successful in this role? Qualification and Experience Degree or Diploma with 8 years related experience. BCom with 8 to 10 years related experience.
