Key Duties and Responsibilities Implement the Allocation strategy according to store turnover and profileEnsure allocations are done effectively based on trade and store performanceAnalytical support and feedback to influence the Planning and Buying teamsStore and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysisReporting and recommendations regarding store performance – this role plays a crucial link between stores and the merchandise teamReplenishment managementMonitoring product performance to take appropriate actionRegular store visits where appropriateLiaising effectively with stores, suppliers, customers, shipping, and marketingKnowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required 1-2 years experience as a Allocator/ Store Planner within a retail environmentMatric & Graduate qualification in a related fieldMicrosoft Office proficiency with advanced ExcelReporting systemsProficiency in Enterprise Planning would be beneficialA high degree of numeracy and a detailed and strategic approach to workCompetencies and Traits A passion for keeping up to date with product trendsGood articulation with excellent English written & verbal communication skillsSound numerical, analytical thinking & logical problem-solving skillsStrong planning, organizing, administrating and coordinating skillsAbility to work independently, self-lead and use initiativeMethodical, detail-orientated, and accurateDeadline and outcomes focusedResilient and tenacious in a pressurized, fast-paced, and ever-changing environmentAbility to resolve conflictAbility to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organizationAn eagerness to learnPlease note: The Cape Union Mart Group is committed to transformation.
