MAC Consulting is looking for an Agile Project Manager whowould be responsible for leading and managing Capital projects from start tofinish. This includes planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closingthe project using agile principles. The Agile Project Manager must have astrong understanding of Agile mindset, behaviors, skills, methodologies andtools and be able to effectively apply them to manage the project and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure best fit agile project delivery approach(considering the context and nature of work involved)
Agile project planning and execution; Agileforecasting, budgeting, resource allocation; Investment and benefits tracking
Proactively monitor and manage progress/risks/issues/ dependencies/ opportunities and influence informed decision-making forresponsible adaption (where applicable)
Constant focus on project delivery value andviability. Ensure project benefits are realized early and incrementally (asapplicable)
Ensure the timely cadence for alignment,planning, execution, reviews and retrospection
Ensure a systemic view for sustainable projectexecution and delivery; Steer projects outcomes towards strategic vision
Influence collaboration between agile and non agileaspects (beyond project scope) within the delivery ecosystem
Influence and ensure agile people changemanagement for the project team
Creating and maintaining project documentation.Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered ontime and within budget.
Ambassador for the project. Ensures effectivestakeholder management, stakeholder communication and reporting for the project
Creating an environment where project teams areenabled to ensure maximum project ROI through adoption of agile mindset,behaviors, skills, processes, structures, methods and tools
Role models agility mindset, behaviors and usageof agility skills; Build and lead a high-performance Agile project team,including managing team members
Provides agile coaching to project team (usingvarious agile coaching stances – coaching, mentoring, training, role modelling,advisory) as relevant in the agile project delivery context
RequirementsExperience
At least 5-7 years of overall project management experience.Of which at least 3-5 years is of agile project management experience
At least 1-2 experience in capital projects
Strong experience on Azure DevOps, JIRA or any other agileproject management tool
Exposure to people change management principles
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,or related field.
Agile project management certification is advantageous
Exposure to ITIL and ITSM practices
Skills
Excellent project management skills, including the abilityto plan, execute, and monitor complex projects using agile principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including theability to work with diverse stakeholders and team members.
Ability to manage risk and resolve conflicts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
