DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: Our client is an established private Company providing specialized services to the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors. They're offering an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their Finance team based in Longmeadow.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BCom Accounting Degree5 years experience in AccountingExperience in an FMCG/Pharmaceutical environment advantageousExperience in landed costs of goods calculations will be a great plusAdvanced MS Excel skillsHigh levels of attention to detail and accuracyDeadline-driven with strong time management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Financial Manager, the Accountant will play an integral role in the Finance team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Prepare quarterly budgetsPrepare Monthly Financial StatementsMonthly Cashbook and BalancingStock ReconsIssuing statements and invoicesMonthly Reconciling of Balance SheetMonthly Reconciling of Income StatementCalculate landed costs of goods and reconcileJournal processingPreparing of SARS returnsGeneral assistance to Financial Manager and Financial DirectorDo you see yourself as the successful Accountant at this leading Company?
