Job Description:
Our client, well-established logistics company, specializing in the export of fresh fruit, seeking an experienced and qualified Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our business operations, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities: Maintain, develop, and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts to support decision-making processes.Provide accurate and timely financial reports and analysis to the management team and stakeholders.Manage cash flow and ensure the availability of sufficient funds for the company's operations.Monitor and control the company's expenses to optimize profitability and minimize risks.Manage tax compliance, financial audits, and other regulatory requirements.Conduct financial analysis, identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, and provide recommendations for business improvement.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.Proven experience as a financial manager or similar role, preferably in the export industryStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.5-10 years' experience in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Proficient in using financial management software and tools.If you meet the above requirements and are interested in joining our team, please submit your application along with your CV and cover letter to admin @zeminwe.co.za
