Accountant - Contract

Are you a dynamic Accountant available immediately and looking for a contract role? Keep reading! We are looking for someone who can work under limited supervision, and be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements in the business. What you will do: Work closely with the CFO, Head of Finance, Financial Reporting Specialist and Accountant to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters. Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy. Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure contribution to the organisations monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner Assist with year-end preparation and procedures Provides financial support to team members Undertake financial administration activities for the organisation What you will need: B Comm (Acc) / BComm Honours Degree or Equivalent, CA (SA) Min 3 years experience at Accountant level or similar Strong problem-solving experience is essential SAP experience Relevant South African legislation Relevant South African good business governance and accounting regulations and knowledge on how to best implement these Excited to learn more?
