The purpose of the Account Executive role is to drive our company's growth through identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline for our Managed Services.
The ideal candidate will be a sales hunter with a successful, proven sales track record in a Managed Services Provider environment, strong business acumen and exceptional active listening and communication skills.
Role Responsibilities:
New Business Generation: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for managed services.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the company .
Client Engagement : Create and cultivate relationships with potential clients through different targeting strategies like cold calling, lead generation and networking .
Needs Analysis: Conduct detailed client needs a nalysis to understand their unique IT challenges and requirements, positioning Solid System s managed services solutions as the ideal fit .
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to suggest and present solutions that add value to clients' businesses.
Sales Pipeline Management: Create, update and manage leads and opportunities in Autotask in real time, maintaining accurate and up to date sales pipeline .
Contract Negotiations: L ead client contracting and collaborate with onboarding team .
Sales Reporting: Provide timely reports on lead generation, opportunity progress, sales pipeline and expenses contributing to the overall business insights .
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in Managed IT Services and identify areas of growth within our service offerings .
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless handover and execution of new contracts .
Professional Development: Commit to ongoing personal and professional growth, deepening product knowledge, and enhancing sales expertise .
Requirements Role requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
Microsoft and Cloud Sales Courses demonstrating expertise in sales in these areas.
4 years' experience in a similar sales role in an MSP environment.
Driver's License and own vehicle.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets with a successful sales track record.
Ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting client relationships with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using a CRM Software to manage leads and opportunities .
Self-motivated, target driven, and goal oriented with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
