Business Segment: Corporate & Investment Banking

To support the development of the sovereign and public sector entities related client business and risk positioning of Global Markets across strategic geographies. At a high level the role will require a deep understanding of macro-economic, fiscal, and political landscapes across the African continent. It will be required to liaising internally with economists, strategists, risk, and business colleagues as well as policy makers and other external stakeholders. You will be required to formulate forecasts and views in collaboration with risk departments to support deal teams with business development and risk approvals. The role will also frequently interact with and assist GM sales and trading personnel and interface with external clients and partners to deliver views and insights.

Global Markets Trading Market Making
3-4 years
Significant experience in analysing and interpreting financial models and large datasets as well as extensive knowledge on financial products to determine potential risk exposure and opportunities to inform business decisions within the global market.
5-7 years
Significant experience in forecasting, analysing, and interpreting the effects of macroeconomic factors within global markets to provide valuable insights to relevant stakeholders.
8-10 years
Significant experience in and knowledge of economics & political science pertaining to global markets to advise business leaders and relevant stakeholders on decision making processes, speculative opportunities, trading risks, and overall risk management.
Might be required to travel
Good understanding of the S.A and Pan African Markets
