Develop, set and define the Standard Bank Group Events Strategy in line with the Group Strategy, Marketing Strategy and business objectives. Manage and oversee the execution of the strategy across the Group. Establish and maintain a centre of excellence to all business units and countries in terms of events.
Qualifications
Qualifications: A degree or post graduate degree in Marketing is required.Experience: Expert in planning and executing events.Project management of events Required.Leading and managing teams Additional Information Key Responsibilities: Driving the event capabilities for the Group and setting the standards for events across the Group. Working very closely in an influencing role with the segments.Architect and develop medium to long term Group Events Strategy as well as execute and control the Events Strategy that spans all business units and includes strategic theme selection, setting strategic objectives and targets, tactical management planning, resource deployment, designing effective events structures and better practices, designing and monitoring effective measurement systems and balanced scorecards.Set standards, frameworks and governance for the Group Events Strategy keeping in mind that events shape conversations and narratives about how Standard Bank is perceived.Pull together an events community of practice, providing oversight on overall event strategy across the Group.Manage, lead and run GLC, Board and Group events. Manage significant budget of events across the Group, pull together Group budget, have oversight and guidance and strategic direction of the events that are run. Accountability to ensure that the event strategy is articulated across the Group and influence how others will execute on it.Managing relationships with third parties, such as events agencies, production companies, influencers and thought leaders to conceptualise and co-create events. Deal directly with clients. Work with media partners and media agencies.Lead and drive the development and implementation of marketing plans to deliver on the Standard Bank Events Strategy in the overall quest to manage Standard Bank's reputation and create close connections with the key target audiences.Ensure communication of eventing, compliance and procurement guidelines and adherence thereof. Determine and implement measurement and evaluation criteria (qualitative and quantitative) according to the business unit
