RE-ADVERTISE:PRINCIPAL CLERK: E-NATIS (PIKETBERG)DIRECTORATE: COMMUNITY SERVICESRequirements: Proficiency in at least two (2) of the official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans/English/Xhosa - Speak, Read and Write) · Good human relations, interpersonal and communication skills · Ability to work under pressure · High level of responsibility · Ability to give attention to detail · Must be physically fit and able bodied · Must work overtime when required · Must perform duties in other areas of the municipality when required.Qualifications: Grade 12; andComputer Literacy: MS OfficeExperience: 0 – 2 year's relevant experience required.Key Performance Areas: Performing specific administrative tasks associated with the processing of vehicle/driving licensing and registration applications and payments, reconciling of cash transactional recordings and deposits and provisioning of information and/or guidance on procedural requirement to the public to ensure that customer requirements are promptly and professionally attended to in accordance with laid down departmental guidelines and procedures · Performing vehicle licensing (MVR / driving licensing and registration DLTC registrations) · Receiving payments and capturing of payments on traffic contravention systems ·Reconciles payments and cash deposits against transactional information/statements · Conducting eye testing sequences · Provides routine information related to E-Natis procedures · Monitor the safekeeping and controlled usage of official documentation · Attends to specific administrative activities associated with licensing · Any other related duties as requested by the supervisor.The competency level for this position is a level 1 as stipulates in Annexure A of the Municipal Staff Regulations Government Notice R890 as promulgated in Government Gazette 45181 dated 20 September 2021 and comprises of the following competencies:
Salary: R 175 872.00 per annum (T07 of a Category 3 Local Authority)

GENERAL:1. A service bonus equivalent to one month's salary, where applicable, will be payable and be supplemented by the normal
benefits applicable to the Municipality including a housing allowance for home owners subject to certain conditions.2. The Municipality is an equal opportunity employer and respects the conditions of the Employment Equity Act, preference will
