Maintenance Specialist

Description Our client, a market leader in the Manufacturing Sector (Cosmetic / Personal and Homecare), based in Centurion, is currently looking to employ a Maintenance Specialist. Requirements: Must have a technical trade certificate (Millwright or Electrical) or relevant qualification. A minimum of 3 years' experience gained in the FMCG industry or automated food or beverages manufacturing environment.Responsibilities, but not limited to: Perform scheduled and planned preventative maintenance in both Cosmetics Filling and Plastics Injection Moulding Plants.Mechanical, electrical fault finding and repair of equipment to standard.General maintenance on equipment in the factory with the goal to keep production going.Previous knowledge and experience on automated lines including piston and gear filling units, rotary capping units, diaphragm / lobe / centrifugal pumps will be essential to the role.Candidates should be familiar with the use of different utility and end technologies used such as, homogenizes, injection molding machines, chillers (refrigerated and evaporation) and screw air compressors.Overtime and standby need to be worked as required with the position requiring the candidate to support night shifts where required.Kindly be advised that should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.  I've applied, now what?
