We are seeking a Junior Production Engineer for a permanent role based in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Eng / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 – 3 years working experience in an engineering or production related field preferredExperience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification and Water Treatment advantageousValid drivers with own transportGood computer skillsThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: As 2IC, take plant operational responsibility when manager is off siteProvide process, operation and maintenance expertiseMonitor / evaluate plant health and performanceCommunicate plant health & performance / take required actionCompile and distribute daily plant operational performance reportsTrack chemical consumption & manage chemical stock levelsMonitor cost of treatment and optimizeIdentifying and implementation of continuous improvement initiativesDeliver on process related inputs required on projectsManagement of risksCompile SOP's where requiredTraining and development of staffAdhere to incident protocols and ensure risk assessments are in place and conductedSalary: Market related To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to ****** If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
