Job Purpose: To create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Ensure that your individual Sales and Profit Budget is exceeded and that all costs related to your orders are strictly controlled.Implement effective Sales Action Plans for all Key Accounts and regional customers within your responsibility.Ensure customer service is a priority. Identify and resolve all issues relating to customers within Standard guidelines.Provide professional presentations to customers.Based on customer briefs initiate all product development and source new concepts in collaboration with the Operations team. Produce accurate customer quotations and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals. Diligently follow-up all quotations distributed to generate orders.Communicate order status to all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge and identify opportunities to increase sales.Monitor competitor's promotions and activities and share information with sales team members. Analyse management information, financial and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget.Develop and maintain accurate, legible customer files.Submit all requested reports including but not limited to customer meeting reports, forecasts, prospect lists and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager in a timely fashion.Demonstrate creativity and share new ideas with peers.Keeping motivated in order to achieve maximum productivitySkills Required: Experience in the promotional goods industryTo have a strong team attitudeExcellent oral and written communication skillsFirst class, effective organisational skillsA pro-active approach to managing projectsExperience of working as part of a teamA keen eye for detail and an understanding of budget restraintsAbility to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlookAbility to cope with pressure and work to tight deadlinesA personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapportThe confidence to give clients trust in your workExcellent knowledge of MS Office particularly power point and excelExcellent problem solving abilityEnthusiastic and passionateOur organization is dedicated to fostering a workplace environment that values diversity and inclusion.
