Are you a young and energetic individual with a passion working with Youth then this great opportunity is for you!PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo design, quote and book and manage various inbound and outbound journeys for the Sport and Leisure division YOUTH Environment which includes schools, universities and clubs.To pro-actively assist in Product Development and ensure current product is updated, costed and relevant to client demand.To exceed customer expectations, meet operational deadlines and achieve set sales targets.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCLIENT RELATIONSHIPSEnsure that the highest level of service is delivered to meet client expectations.Offer clients the best possible price and product.Continuously evaluate and suggest creative ideas and product offerings.Build and maintain new and existing relationships with clients and their staff.Establish and maintain good relationships with clients and staff.Ensure effective communication with staff and clients at all times.Ensure all correspondence, documentation, costings, proposals, and presentations are delivered accurately and on time.Set and measure minimum standards.Follow up with clients and leads.Manage and tour lead guests when they travel, providing an end-to-end experience.Travel with youth groups as required.TECHNICAL SKILLSAdhere to clients' agreed policies or specifications for turnaround time.Utilize Tourplan and Amadeus Ticketing experience (intermediate level).Understand customers' needs and products.Understand clients' policies and procedures.Prepare quotations and costings to package products.Manage documentation for all groups, including itinerary planning and layout, product contracting, vouchers, rooming lists, filing, and recon.Proactively lead the operations team through positive intervention.Provide exceptional customer care by handling complaints professionally, solving problems, and exceeding customer expectations.Manage Zoho.ADMINISTRATIONUnderstand and follow all divisional procedures and policies.Submit reports as requested and adhere to deadlines.Maintain confidentiality with all company intellectual capital.Ensure all costings are accurate and offer clients the best value proposition.FINANCIAL REPORTINGPrepare weekly and monthly financial reports as required.Measure profitability monthly.Prepare monthly activity and workload status reports.Manage payments relating to debtors and creditors where required.TEAMWORKBuild and maintain good relationships with all teams within the division.Coach, motivate, develop, mentor, and manage team leaders and their teams.Manage team performance through leadership.Support all business units within client Destination Management.Proactively get involved whenever and wherever needed.Assist in areas of expertise.Work with sales and marketing to secure business.SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPSBuild and maintain relationships with client Destination Management preferred partners, with a focus on the unique needs of the youth environment.Negotiate the best rates.Understand supplier products.Establish the best product.Develop personal knowledge of destinations and products.Actively source new products and creative ideas.Negotiate specific requirements relating to clients or departmental needs (Special Rates/Service levels).RequirementsMatric certificateTravel & Tourism qualificationMinimum 3 5 years experience within the Tourism Industry Inbound & OutboundExperience on ZOHO would be an advantagePrevious knowledge of school environment a MUSTExperience on Tourplan essential
