RPO's client is seeking two Workshop Supervisors to join their dynamic team at their Heidelberg manufacturing plant specializing in refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing. The Workshop Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their workshops, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Insure all team members understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.Create and manage the workshop staff schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities accordingly.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Machine Maintenance and Production ReportsGenerate daily and weekly machine maintenance reports, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.Compile and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions as needed.Develop production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency.Personally oversee workshop operations to anticipate, detect, and address any factors that may impede production or quality.Utilize expertise in refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or violations promptly.Requirements:Demonstrated experience in refrigerated body building and/or steel trailer manufacturing, with a strong understanding of workshop operations.Proficiency in fiberglass skills, polyurethane and styrene utilization, and vacuum table operations.Experience with refrigerated sides cutting and utilizing 15m cutting tables.Knowledge of steel small parts manufacturing, guillotines, and CNC bending machines.Familiarity with rear frame/sub-frame manufacturing, suspension systems, and ABS brakes installation.Experience in spray painting techniques is a plus.Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity. Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Llizelle Jansen at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.usor email us your CV: ******
