Key Responsibilities:Overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and wine tasting roomPlanning and coordinating group bookingsEnsuring smooth communication with guests and team membersManaging customer service interactions and maintaining a professional demeanourUpholding a high standard of professionalism and customer servicePromoting teamwork and fostering a positive atmosphereHandling guest complaints effectively and with composureDemonstrating leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple tasksEnsuring adherence to company valuesEnsuring stock control and performing inventory checks as requiredMaking confident decisions and delegating tasks to team membersRequirements:Fully bilingual in English & AfrikaansResident in or near Stellenbosch, with own transport (required for shift, weekend, and holiday work)Willingness to work on public holidays and weekendsA friendly personality with a professional appearanceStrong customer service orientationAbility to plan, organize, and multi-task effectivelyProven leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skillsA keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilitiesAbility to stay calm and composed in fast-paced environmentsAssertive leadership with the ability to take chargeDesirable Experience and Background:Previous experience in Front of House and management rolesWine knowledge and experience in managing a tasting room or restaurantRelevant qualification in Wine, Management, or HospitalityComputer literateExperience in Semper and Pastel advantageousExperience in cash-ups, stocktaking, and financial processes*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted*
