Job Description for Position onboard MSC Cruise Line:Properly operate the waste treatment equipment in the Recycling Center, reporting any malfunction of waste treatment equipment and tools to the Environmental Compliance Officer or to the Waste Management LeadSeparate, handle and store waste in the Recycling Centre and permitted areas.When permitted and advised by the Environmental Compliance Officer or following the Chief Waste Operator instructions assigned in accordance with the Environmental Compliance Officer directions, perform the discharge at sea of the comminuted food waste in compliance with the applicable regulations.Ensure the recovery and storage of the incinerator ash from the incinerator.Perform the waste offloading operations according to the relevant instructionsEnsure that all the operations are carried out in compliance with the Environmental, Health and Safety requirement.
