Warehouse Manager

Qualification BCom Degree, Business Qualification, or equivalent Requirements Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, QWIX). Solid understanding of warehouse operations. Knowledge of SHEQ standards and compliance. Familiarity with lifting equipment and safety regulations. Strong computer skills, with expertise in systems, reporting, and creating dashboards. Duties Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, dispatch, and fleet management. Optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure the smooth operation of all warehouse processes. Lead, train, mentor and develop a team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and a safe working environment. Monitor and maintain SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards in all warehouse activities. Ensure all warehouse equipment, including lifting equipment, is operated and maintained according to safety standards. Manage stock control and inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient movement of goods across the supply chain. Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost efficiency. Regularly assess and report on warehouse performance metrics and implement action plans as needed.
