Warehouse Manager And Stock Controller

Key Performance areas: ? Overseeing receiving and warehousing. ? Implementing operational policies and procedures. ? Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment. ? Ensuring safety of staff ? Motivating and disciplining staff ? Stock control ? Oversee storage of products ? Execute inventory audits and stock / cycle counts ? Keep updated inventory records (matching physical counts to system figures) ? Manage food safety policies and all related policies ? Maintain good housekeeping and discipline in all warehouses. Minimum requirements: ? Must have at least Grade 12 (or related tertiary qualification). ? Microsoft Excel, word and Power point ? Previous warehouse & stock control position with references will be advantageous. ? Working knowledge of inventory management software. ? Experience in inventory audits, stock / cycle counts. ? Excellent organization skills. ? Good communication and negotiation abilities. ? Strong people skills. ? Code 10 with PDP driver’s license would be advantageous. ? Willing to work extra hours.
