To define and implement the User Experience (UX) strategy as well as manage the Usability Interface specialist and content specialist to ensure we deliver a superior User Experience.

Certification or degree in usability
5 years working experience in the field of usability.

responsibilities
Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness
Advocate for a culture of user-centred design throughout the organization
Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements
Ensure the team works closely with a cross-functional teams to assess product requirements for new and enhanced interface applications
Control the promotion of usability standards and protocols, system changes and enhancements throughout the organization and evaluate the success of changes and enhancements that have a direct, positive impact on the user experience and further impact on business results.
Define and implement/drive the User Experience (UX) strategy across all of FNB Online’s touch points
Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
Contribute to the enhancement of the web sites and other platforms from a strategic point of view and provide usability insights to drive customer centric solutions
Define and implement usability and content standard and ensure team does quality assurance testing
Ensure the teams participation in the product design process by which ensure templates are designed as per the specifications provided by the Business Analysts, ensuring a consistent user experience across the FNB sites with the help of the usability standards and additional resources available
Ensure that the usability interface and Content specialist have effective scheduling and prioritization to execute activities
Assist with the conducting of usability studies to ensure that our solution is both user-friendly and intuitive for the end user.
Manage own development to increase own competencies
Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies
